I'm Erica Walter, founder and CEO of Email Mavens, and email marketing is more than my bread and butter... it is my jam.
I’ve spent nearly two decades in winery email marketing, including over a decade as VP of a wine marketing agency before starting Email Mavens in 2018. Now my team and I do two jobs: we send revenue-driving email for wineries, and we teach wineries to do it themselves.
I’m the creator of PRESS SEND, the email marketing course built specifically for wineries, and Mavens On Demand, where wineries get ongoing coaching and feedback on the emails they’re actually sending. I’ve worked in just about every tech stack in the industry, so I know the pros, the cons, and the hacks hiding in winery systems.
My favorite thing to do is build email strategies that make wineries money. My second favorite? Teaching YOU to do it yourself.
Most brands treat email like a broadcast tower: bigger list, more sends, hope for the best. We don't believe in sending more email. We believe in sending better email to the right people at the right moment, and proving it worked.
Before a single send, we get aligned on audience, intent, content lanes, and what success actually looks like. It's the difference between an email program that compounds and one that just consumes Friday afternoons.
A program needs to know its own promise: how it looks, how it sounds, how it behaves. That's the difference between a program that drifts and one that stays sharp.
We went deep on one industry on purpose. Your seasonality, your club, your compliance quirks, your harvest chaos: we don't need it explained.
Email Mavens is a small, fully-remote team, and that's on purpose. You will always know exactly who is working on your email.
Lives in the spreadsheet. Writes from the heart.
Calmly making chaos behave since day one.
